About Me

My passion for dogs began 29 years ago as a teenager job shadowing at the SPCA (now EHS). Edmontonians may remember the dingy, dark and slightly spooky old shelter on the Yellowhead. After deciding vet medicine was not for me, I quickly changed course. Realizing behavioural issues were the main reason for animal surrender I started learning how to train dogs. I had a wonderful mentor that guided me through training my very first dog, and although I do things very different now, the objective is still the same. With years of experience and hands on hundreds of pets in 2021 alone, I have been fortunate to work with a vast variety of breeds and behaviours. Transitioning into the pet training industry has been more rewarding than I could have ever hoped. With a CPDT-KA, DBTMc, Certified Master course – Aggression in Dogs, as well as multiple self study courses with top professionals in the industry, I have remained on top of the latest training methods and I am passionate about sharing that knowledge to improve the lives of families and their pets. Giving handlers the skills to connect with their pets and giving the dogs the confidence to navigate our crazy world has been a dream come true.

About Bash

Meet my little hero! When I became a mom to the most creative and loving little boy, I quickly realized I needed something different in my life. The dogs of my past would not fit with my new life and my new family so I began the search for the perfect pet that would enhance our life and bring us joy everyday.

When I first saw Bash rolling in the hay on a farm outside of Edmonton, I knew he was the one, he had something special and the immediate connection between my son and this little fluffball would melt the toughest heart. I never thought I’d own a dog like Bash but he has exceeded any and all of my expectations and has become an invaluable addition to our family. The relationship and bond I have cultivated between these two is my greatest accomplishment as a trainer. This little mix breed has taught me about the importance of a solid, reliable pet and that’s where my journey into the pet industry started. I’ve seen how fulfilling life can be when things go right and with Bash’s help we can share our journey and bring the same joy to your home.
